Episode 170 is a roundtable with a diverse group of queer practitioners from around the world representing multiple facets of the magical community. The modern Pagan community is seen by many as focusing on fertility and binary gender identity which can leave LGBTQ+ practitioners feeling disenfranchised. We explore the notion of being LGBTQ+ in a fertility religion, embracing the term 'queer' as well as other terminology with a problematic past, spiritual bypassing used as a means to invalidate lived experience, and how cishet Pagans can be better allies.

Episode 169 asks What is an expert? Is it formal academic achievement? Certifications? Is being an expert subjective to the field itself? To answer that question, I've brought together a circle of experts in different fields to parse out the finer points of the discourse surrounding expertise.

We discuss bona fides, goalposts, how experts identify experts and they way they identify frauds, the ways in which certifications and titles are both helping and hurting the identification of experts, and by the end of the episode you'll be initiated into the Kevin Bacon tradition of witchcraft and heading off to a goat rodeo.

Episode 168 of Inciting A Riot is a roundtable with some familiar voices. I am welcoming back Rene Collins, Ginger Doss, SJ Tucker, and Cheshire Moon to the podcast. They are some of modern Paganism's foremost musical acts, and we had a delightful conversation about the business of independent artistry, what leadership means, fear, and the joys of being a bard for a bunch of witches.

Episode 145 is an open conversation among Black activists and spiritual leaders regarding recent protests, police brutality, whether watching The Help solves racism, what it means to be a good ally, and specifically how white authors, teachers, and publishers in Paganism assist in the erasure of Black Pagan voices.

My sincere gratitude to the 7 people who stepped forward and were willing to speak on this matter. It was an act of emotional labor and courage, and I hope the community at large will listen, get uncomfortable, and grow.

Episode 108 of Inciting A Riot: the Podcast features around a dozen women voices from around the United States that all attended the recent Women's March on January 21, 2017. They provided their reasons for attending, experience at their respective location's march, reactions to the intersectional representation and speakers, as well as their views on future protests.

My eternal gratitude to these women for speaking up.

I would like to say a very special thanks to Katelyn Burns for being my guest today. You may tweet her @Transscribe.

Episode 102 finds us Inciting A Brexit Riot. I spend 90 minutes discussing what led up to the recent decision by the UK to leave the European Union, how it happened, and what the future holds for the UK and around the world.

Please forgive some of the audio quality. It's obvious that Skype voted Leave and didn't want us to have a clear connection.
